We seek staff for our new shop in berlin opening in October 2017

Swedish accessories brand Sandqvist are seeking experienced team members for our new flagship store opening in Berlin, Mitte in mid October. We are looking for an experienced store manager and part-time staff. Training for these positions will begin at the end September.

JOB DESCRIPTION, STORE MANAGER FULL TIME

· Candidate must be able to work 40 hours full time.

· Responsible for managing part-time staff, creating staff rotas and providing relevant training.

· Responsible for managing the Repair shop and recruiting a cobbler.
· Managing store budgets and reaching sales targets alongside providing sales reports to Head Office.

· Responsible for stock control and management.

· Ability to provide exceptional product knowledge to both customers and staff.

· Responsible for all customer service enquiries, reporting back to Sandqvist HQ where necessary.

· The successful candidate will manage and be instrumental in creating brand appropriate store events for the Berlin store in line with the brand’s global marketing communications.

· Ensuring Sandqvist’s brand image is maintained at all times through considered visual merchandising, general up keep and maintenance of the store.

· Be the Sandqvist ambassador in Berlin, conveying the brand’s soul and history to customers.

What we're looking for:

· The ideal candidate would have previous experience as a store manager or have held a position in a senior management role. 
· Previous experience dealing with day-to-day retail operations on a management level. 

· You are positive and customer service focused with the drive to provide the highest quality shopping experience. 

· You are willing to be an exceptional brand ambassador, possessing the ability to convey the Sandqvist ethos through all interactions with both staff and customers. 

· An understanding of Sandqvist as a brand and its standing in the Germany. 

· Previous experience in visual merchandising to convey a strong brand identity. 

· Exceptional communication skills and ability to report effectively to Sandqvist HQ in Stockholm. 

· Fluency in Swedish is a bonus but not essential.

· Ensuring Sandqvist’s brand image is maintained at all times through general up keep and maintenance of the store.
· Assisting during store events and other events where appropriate.

· Dealing with all customer enquiries and handling repair services.

· Be a Sandqvist ambassador in Berlin, conveying the brand’s soul and history to customers

What we're looking for:

· Previous retail experience

· Positive and customer service focused with the drive to provide the highest quality shopping experience.
· An eye for presentation and attention to detail

· An awareness of Sandqvist as a brand, it’s ethos and place within the UK market

· Exceptional communication skills

· Punctual, with drive, ambition and initiative.
