Visual communication has always been a big part of the Sandqvist brand. To be able to tell our story through photography and film has been of great importance for us not only as a brand, but also on a personal level.

When Hasselblad approached us with a collaboration in mind we didn’t have to think twice. The ethos and story of Hasselblad has been a true inspiration; they are an iconic company, founded in 1941. They have seen a lot over the years and have had huge impact on the world of photography.

Hasselblad revealed that Gian Paul Lozza, one of their very talented ambassadors, was to travel to Hokkaido at the north end of Japan, to shoot the spectacular Japanese nature with some of the best powder snow in the world. Hokkaido is in many ways similar to the Nordic Landscapes we so often turn to for inspiration and love to show off. We Hope you enjoy Gian Paul Lozza’s incredible photographs, and the bags that came out of this partnership.
